Some background about this gifset creation

In 1986, MATTEL expanded its lineup with 3 news figures that joined Kobra Khan to create a new category of bad guys: the SNAKEMEN.

Each figure is exceptional due to its brand-new action features and the quality of craftsmanship typical of MATTEL in those years.

Paradoxically, and unlike what MATTEL usually did at the time, these 3 figures didn’t get the usual promotion of being sold as a 3-pack.

And since it seemed missing to us, we made it!

The magnificent logo featuring a cobra was a challenge. Given its importance and how impressive it looks on a blister, it seemed logical to us to showcase it as much as possible, but with the technical constraints of innovating.

Like MATTEL might have done back in the day, we decided to extend it inside the gift set onto the inner cardboard.

The result seems very interesting to us and allows us to propose something new, while still staying in the spirit of what could have been proposed at the time.
