Some background about this gifset creation

If there's one gift set that has long kept a bit of mystery, it's this one!

Offered in two editions with the same artwork, in 1983 with SKELETOR regular and SKELETOR BATTLE ARMOR in a second edition in 1984, the rarity of this gift set has raised many questions. We only know of a few copies, even maybe just one or two with the regular SKELETOR version.

Why such rarity?

It's actually an exclusive for a very specific chain of U.S. stores. We recently discovered and shared it! It's a little investigation that allowed us to find out.
